Jessica Borich | 陸慧儀 (she/elle/她)

Social Impact Strategist

Jessica is an Impact Architect specialising in social innovation and experience design strategy. Curious by nature, she strikes the perfect balance between a designer’s attention to detail and a visionary’s bold outlook. A skilled facilitator, Jessica excels at connecting and convening diverse stakeholders across public, private, non-profit, and First Nations communities. She has the unique ability to create human centric strategies through an anti-racist and decolonised lens resulting in more just and equitable practices. Her trauma informed approach cultivates a safe space that promotes cultural and  gender awareness, as well as accessibility and inclusivity. Combined with her collaborative work style, this encourages honesty, reflection and engagement. In leading planning and design, she brings clarity and structure to help synthesise and distil critical insights and ideas. Jessica bridges the worlds of design and business to create meaningful experiences and products.

Jessica applies systems and design thinking methodologies to help clients solve complex challenges and deliver purpose driven results. Jessica has extensive experience working with organisations to help them clarify their purpose, embed social impact and generate positive change through authentic community investment. She looks for opportunities to disrupt the way business is conducted through social innovation, collaboration and inclusivity.

Inspired by the intersection of disciplines, Jessica has built her career by blending management consulting and organisational design solutions with marketing, program and project management as well as engagement strategy and partnerships development. 

Jessica earned her Bachelors of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Human Resources Management from the University of Saskatchewan. She is also an alumna and Teaching Fellow of the University of Pennsylvania’s Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy. She was a StartingBloc Fellow where she explored how leveraging power and privilege can be a powerful catalyst to inspire transformative change. Jessica is a passionate climate change activist, where she was trained by Vice-President Al Gore as a Climate Reality leader.

Lindsay Young (she/her/hers)

Social Impact Strategist

Lindsay is an interdisciplinary strategist and equity designer with a focus on coalition building and program development. Lindsay brings a deep commitment to authenticity and collaboration into all of her work. She is a strategist who solves complex challenges with a lens towards centering those most proximate to issues. She has over 14 years of professional experience that includes serving as legal counsel for large financial institutions, acting as Executive Director of a literacy and youth development non-profit in Ghana, and advising startup companies, foundations, and community organisations in strategic and operational matters. As a systems thinker, she blends empathy and curiosity to develop, implement and assess frameworks that promote equitable outcomes.

Lindsay holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in Political Science from Spelman College. She is also a graduate and Teaching Fellow of the University of Pennsylvania’s Executive Program for Social Impact Strategy.

Alannah Bonalos (she/her/hers)

Social Impact Designer

Alannah Bonalos is a self-taught illustrator, specialising in creating equitable, accessible, and inclusive designs. 

As a visual storyteller and multi-disciplinary artist, Alannah incorporates empathy, color theory, and color psychology into her work – ensuring all are able to understand and access her designs, regardless of subject matter, privilege, or circumstances. She has over 15 years of community organizing and activism work, with a special interest in designing maternal health interventions in the Global South. As a lead designer on instructive campaigns for non-profit and higher education institutions, she enhanced clients’ communications strategies with a thoughtful focus on accessible language and the user experience. Before transitioning into illustration full-time, she worked in sports sales and data analysis, strengthening her skills in fostering relationships and data visualization. She leverages her experience across industries to produce powerful messaging, build networks, and create data-backed, human-centred illustrations that impact and inform.

Alannah holds a BA in International Development Studies with a double-minor in Political Science and Geography from University of California, Los Angeles.
